Anthony Sweat is a Professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University. He received his bachelor's degree in painting and drawing and his Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction. He is the author of many publications dealing with the teachings and history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including the best-selling temple series The Holy Invitation, The Holy Covenants, and his most recent book, The Holy Sealing. Anthony is a regular speaker at Latter-day Saint events and conferences. As a practicing artist his paintings center on religious themes, including underrepresented events in Church history. He and his wife, Cindy, are the parents of seven children.
